Rachel,
Thank you for your sweet post. I have been looking forward to the very things you posted about. The running around with my kids and feeling great. I live for my family. If all I ever accomplish on this earth is being a good mother and wife then I will be happy(OMG that looks archaic in printLOL) That is the reason I am doing this. It helps so much to know all the emotions that I am feeling are what others have felt and have done great!! I hope you are still coming Saturday!
Love & Big Hugs

You will make it through! Shot who will host 2007 March gathering?
Seriously, my girlfriend had her surgery last Thursday and she was just like you. When they came to get her she was in tears. We prayed and she told me a peace came over her because she knew that this was her time. And the same goes for you, Lorie! It is your time! God has not taken you this far to leave you stranded. He will be with you till the end. Don't let anything, fear etc steal the joy you have right now. You are already victorious!

Thank you Vanessa for your post! It IS crazy to let fear steal your joy from any day! I love the quote "Faith is the absenceof fear - You cannot have Faith and be Afraid" So I chose to have Faith(whew I hope that lasts LOL) I hope to see you and your sweet husband Saturday!

Almost 10 days ago when I got my surgery I was feeling exactly as you are now. I made it and so will you! You may even go through a few more sad days after the surgery as you adjust to your new lifestyle and reality sets in that you have acually made a huge change in your life, but things will slowly get back to normal. I can honestly say that because I am starting to see the light and the end of the tunnel and you will too!

It's okay. Take a DEEP breath, blow out all you stale fear and worries and inhale clean, fresh hope and healing, and know that everything will be alright. There, doesn't that help, even a little? Maybe it will even make you smile
There is a purpose in life for everyone, and you are on your journey's path. Who knows what's down the path, but the point is, to enjoy your journey. My surgery is 3/14, and I've found myself preparing everything as if I am going to die; which, in a way, I am, since I am going to be re-born. I just acknowledge my thoughts, and then continue preparing for coming home after surgery so I will be as comfortable as possible and looking forward to my new life!
Hope this helps and God bless,
Jenean
