Yes ma'am. Dr. Walton. I am scheduled for June 23, but hoping for a cancelation at the end of March so I can get this done quicker. I cannot believe you are still waiting... Did you call the insurance company and find out what is taking so long?

Maureen, I'm going to tell you in all the research I've done for PS the legs are the ones that take the longest to heal traditionally. I will keep you in my prayers that you'll be able to have this done quickly and recover quickly as well. Keep us posted when you get a firm date. Dee Dee

Thanks Dee Dee My surgeon is doing the incision down the inside of my leg..from about the top of the thigh to the knee... Right now my date is June 23rd, but if he has a cancellation, it may be quicker. He said the recovery time is a little "easier" with that type of incision. Instead of pulling up, he is pulling over (if that makes any sense...hard for me to explain) How are you feeling?

I had a thigh lift 15 years ago- but it was right after a diet where I lost about 70 pounds. I did not have a WLS at the time and did not weight to see if my weight would stay off. I gained weight , my thighs dropped, I have fat legs now and all the stuff that goes along with them plus railroad tracks around my legs. I hope yours goes better but it was never what I thought it would be - I thought I would have these dancers lefs...nope. Just thought I would let you know- hope they have improved n themj and hope you keep all weight off so it does not happen top you- gravity is very hard on the skin on your legs good luck edyth

Thanks for the info.. I hope mine will go better. Where are your scars? Are the down the inside of the thigh? Did they fade after time? Other than regaining the weight....was the thigh lift an improvement?
