Gwinnett County??

Hi Sharonne: My husband & I and our four children live here in Gwinnett and LOVE it. We've been here all our lives, except for college in TN. Yes, the schools are great. The state average to which the lady from down south is referring is low, but metro area schools are awesome. We are in the Collins Hill district in Lawrenceville. The kids love it. Gwinnett is also very strong in sports, and the county was named a County of Excellence by Sports Illustrated for its facilities (terrific parks and strong programs). Short term, though, I think everyone's suggestions are good ones. I don't remember whether you mentioned the ages of your kids, but there's also Fernbank, we have a terrific zoo, and the High Museum has wonderful attractions often geared to kids and families.
