Aetna PPO - GA or TN
You can read my profile. I had lots of trouble with them but then at the beginning of the year I switched to BCBS. I think they stalled on me so I couldn't have the surgery before the end of the year... so they didn't have to pay for it. But I've read a lot about them and they seem to rubber stamp everyone denied on the first try. Keep really good records and don't be afraid to re-send everything with a letter copying a lawyer. I did.
If you do EXACTLY what Aetna requires then you will get approved but you have to do it to a tee. Make sure that your doctors documents everything and keep really good notes. I was denied at first but it was because my doctors did not send in everything like they were supposed to so I picked up all my records, organized them and sent them in myself and then I was approved. Go to Aetna.com and look up bulletin 157 which explains their requirements. Good luck! Bonnie
