100 lbs gone @ 6 month
Today was my six month post op. I am so happy. I can not belive I got on the scale this morning and weighed in at 223. What a fabulous feeling know that just a short 6month ago I was over 300 and look at me today. I still have very hard food issues. I get sick still alot and can barly eat anything to speak of. But I do mananage to survive. ha ha I went form a size 26/28 in pants to a 20 but I could get in a 18 if I wanted to still kind of tight. I went froma 26/28 3x shrit to a 18/20 XL shirt. I can even tell I have a bust. which has always been a family laugh not even when I was pregnant with the boys did I even have a bust to speak of . But wow today .LOL I really am looking forward to the spring and even summer. Once again I like ti thank each of you for your alls support to me and each other what agreat group of people. I also want to thank you all for opening up your kindness to my boys a the get togathers.. With much love....Beth
honey, if I didn't have the flu I'd give you a standing ovation. Instead I'm clapping and cheering for you inside! I've been wanting to write to you and tell you I saw your picture from the last get together and tell you how happy and proud I am for you! You look wonderful Beth!
I didn't know you were having such bad food issues like me! My doc told me at my 6 month check up that I have a stricture causing the problems. He is trying to treat it with meds but so far nothing has changed. Guess I'll be getting the ol' scope down the throat, uhg. Please ask your doc to check you out ok? And if he already has please let me know what he had to say.

I had my surgery on Jan. 9th, and I know what you mean about food issues, I find even thou you are eating, I am not hungery at all and have to make sure I get my protein drink in and my water. I don't think when I can eat regular food I will even want it, but that is later, one day at a time for now. You will have to post a new photo. Because I know you have lost so much. And you look great, too. Do you walk and exercise, too. It is hard when you have little ones to any of it, but you are doing great. Take care and hope to see you soon.
