Savannah bound... help please...

Hi all I am definitely moving to the Savannah area in the next couple of weeks... and have no clue about the area... I leave on Saturday to check into a motel, then Sunday will be looking all over the place to at least find an area to hunt for a house... Can anyone tell me which area to at least look in?... North?... West of the city? I am just hoping someone knows the area, or can point me to a real estate agent/property manager... someone with house (not apartment) rentals... Thanks...

My advice is to move to the outside area. Try Effingham County...

I live in Fffingham and think it is a wonderful place.I missed most of the posts so I am not up to date on you.Are you moving here?

Depending on where you will work, effingham is kinda far out. I live off coffee bluff on the south side and I like it here. also georgetown and wilmington Island are good areas. ggod luck north and west arent so good.
