OK here is my plan. I would like to plan for May 6th but would also like to leave the 13th as a backup date in case of rain. While it doesn't rain very much in May (one day last year) it is a real possibility. So with that being said. Lets shoot for the 6th. I am going to see if we can get a special welcome from the Royal Court so lets all PLEASE be there by 10:00 at the latest. Opening of the gates is at 10:30 sharp and its very important that we all be in place We are still a long ways out and details are a bit rough right now. I'll work on discount tix for all of us that will attend when I can get with the owners of the festival. His and Her Majesty will surely welcome us all to their enchanted relm. A treat noone will soon forget. Until later... Fare The Well M'Lords and M'Ladies

Inexpensivly would depend on how much you are willing to spend. I'll do some looking around and email you my results. I have never rented at the faire but I will say that if you intend on ever returning, I would purchase the outfit myself. There are a few different outfits you can choose from but the one I got Mae as about $75

I'm in! I'm only about 5-6 miles from the festival. Peachtree City is actually closer to the site than Newnan, though Newnan is good for Interstate folks as far as convenience. There's shopping in both places if folks want to make a weekend of it Just wanted to add that thought. I have NEVER been to the Ren Fest! My husband and I will be there

Hi Joyce, Yes you are correct about PTC being closer than Newnan but I was trying to keep it simple for everyone. Not that straight down 74 isn't easy. The prices were about the same so I kept it right of I-85 My thought was it would be harder to explain where PTC is for folks traveling in from Macon or the north side that have never been there. I'm glad you and hubby are going to make it. It is so much fun. You will want to return often after the first visit.

Renaissance Festival clothing can be found at the following sites if you want to purchase. http://www.renstore.com/ good site http://avalonusa.com/renaissance/ http://www.lords-n-ladies.com/ If you want to wait till you arrive to decide then the options are endless. Also as I said rentals are available as well and there are even several merchants selling sandles and shoes
