5 days / 10 pounds
Ok, so I am a bit of a scale ***** I do weight myself every couple of days, however I only track and write down the weight once a week. I feel like it gives me a better sense of my flucuations. (nods solemnly)
As of today I am down 10-10.5 pounds since surgury (my scale is accurate within a half pound) so I am stoked! Things are going really well, my main complaint is being tired. Last night was definately my last night to sleep on the couch, I think the pain in my back and neck now outweighs any surgury pain, lol! What a fantastic new year this is turning out to be!
Oh! And as a quick update, mashed potatos rocked! Took a full hour to eat about a half cup (4 oz) but was soooo worth it! I now have an idea of what I feel like when I have a full pouch. I am also starting to recognize signs that my stomach is hungry (note I didnt say I - still no appetite) its kind of grumbly which goes away when I have a couple of sips of my morning protein shake.
Thats all I can think of for now!

I'm not sure if I am supposed to have cheese yet *think* I know mac and cheese is listed on a sample menu for weeks 3-6 but week 1-2 doesn't list anything but cottage cheese and well that just did not work out so well, lol. But I will definately keep it in mind for week 3! Thank you so much for the suggestion!
