3 week update post PS!

I saw Dr. Ashraf today and they FINALLY pulled my right drain. Let me tell you, I know a lot of you PS patients had an easy time with drain pulling...it burned and I said F$^& really loud... Apparantly both drains have not been attached be the stitches for a week and that's probably half the reason why I've been so bothered by it. They steristripped the other one down. I'm glad they didn't need to cut the right one off b/c I was TERRIFIED! (I've been having drain problems....not everybody expereinces what I did)-Dee Dee is doing well with hers! Left drain gets pulled next Tuesday. Arm tape came off today. Boobie tape comes off next week. I don't know when bikini tape comes off. She said rub vitamin E on my arms. They are really pleased with my lower eye bleph. No bruising at all and you can't see a scar. I gave them the info and pics I gave to the PCP with a letter, so thighs are next-not till June! Pray that insurance says "Poor Sherry-her thighs are just awful...let's get them approved!" I have pics and documentation of what happens to my thighs after I run...let's say OUCH!

I'm so NOT looking forward to getting the drains removed simply because of the F^&* factor here...... Mine haven't bothered me yet - but I'm still really early out. I don't see Dr. A again until next Monday and the worst problem I'm having is some serious gas....UGH....OUCH!!! So - WHEN are we going to see the before and after pics!!!!!! (lol - I'm messing with you here......) I'm glad things went well....and the first of the drains came out. All be it painful - at least it's over! It's only getting better!!! love ya! Dee Dee

how did they do your arms?

Dr. Ashraf gave me a choice. I originally was going to go for the "short cut, where there's hardly much of an incision. The prob with that is I wouldn't have gotten a good result. Sooooo...I opted to go from armpit to elbow. The scar is on the inside of the arms, so unless I'm conducting chorus at school, no one could tell. The arms drains didn't hurt so much coming out. Alls I remember from the groin drain was burning and this big sucking sound. I'm an audio person, what can I say.
