My 3 month check up
WTG Kimberly, I know you are so happy, and that hubby of yours is to. I just only wish I could lose 65 lbs within 3 months. I know I won't be there, I lost 12 before surgery and have lost 32.5 in the last 12 weeks(Monday) I go back January 17th and I know they are not going to be happy with me, because they(Dr. Rashid) told me at 1 month out I hadn't lost enough (-20) and said that they wanted to not recognize me when I come in for my 3 month. Well it's been a little over a month since I seen them and I've only lost 12.5 lbs. I'm not complaining because I am now under 200 and I've lost 11 inches in my waist, 3 in hips and 4 in boobs. Then on the other hand I have my PCP telling me I'm not getting in enough calories (DUH I know that) and I'm losing to fast , go figure. It's hard for me on the protein and liquids, but I'm trying my hardest. I am losing hair to, about 10 a day when I shower, but hey my hair is thick anyway. Best of luck and keep up the great work.

Hey Melissa!
I think you are doing great! I lost somewhere around 20 or so within my 1st month. When I went to my 3 month check up, I was almost 4 months post op. I went a couple of weeks where no weight at all came off. I actually put a few pounds on. Just keep your head up and push forward. It will start coming off faster. I found some protein shakes at walmart that really work for me. They are in a silver box, EAS Advant Edge Carb Control. I get the chocolate fudge. They are 11oz, 100 calories, 3g fat, 4 carbs (1 impact carb - have no idea what that means, lol) 0 sugars. Sometimes they go on sale, but they can get expensive if you drink them all the time like I do. I have tried others, but didnt like the taste or the calories were more, so were the sugars. I have to be careful with the sugars. I am very sensitive with that. Remeber to keep positive. You are doing a great job!
Hugs!!!
Kimberly

I'm so glad to see that you are doing so well.
As water drinking, I'm just like you.... don't like drinking much at all..
I wish you and your family all the best in this New Year. I hope your husband is going to be home soon safe and sound, and I'm 100% positivive that you will look stunning for his homecoming.
