mini WOW moment

I have decided to celebrate my first "century" mark.... I'm down 100 pounds from my high weight! Now, its only 4 1/2 months from surgery, and only 65 pounds from there, but dang it, I AM PROUD. My weight loss has been really slow for more than a month, plus I put on a couple in the last few weeks that I had to take off. But I finally realized my energy level is huge compared to pre-surgery, and even more so than a couple years ago when I weighed my heaviest. I am grateful. I work in the hospital where I had my surgery, and ran into the surgeon today---- almost gave him a big 'cause my pants are so big they are falling down! And that's with a drawstring waist! Carolyn D

Thanks! I am slowly learning to celebrate the moments along the journey. I haven't been a "loser" in a long time!

Yay, CAROLYN!!! Congrats on your wonderful weight loss! If you lose your pants, it will be a great advertisement for the good doc. Time to go shopping, Girlfriend, but look for sales, you probably won't be this size for long! Hugs, Becky

I have never been a shopper --- couldn't get into that since I couldn't get into the clothes! But I have been hitting close-out racks as I cycle down thru sizes. Yay! Carolyn D
