IT IS VERY NICE TO MEET YOU ALL. I AM 9 MONTHS POST- I have lost 115 lbs!!! MY life has changed so much for the better. I have been reading and following the board for awhile and decided to join in. My weight loss has slowed down quiet abit now. Any suggestions on getting the weight loss going again??? Thanks, Gina

Welcome Regina, I am only a couple of months post and I am still learning to how to live as a new person, but I would like to take this moment to welcome you. Hi Gina! Welcome to posting What you are going through is completely normal. EVERYONE has the same thing happen! Honest! I have heard 'cut the carbs and up the protein and excersize' over and over again. Maybe that would jump start things for you. I have noticed that when I am able to up my calories I start losing again... which goes against everything I have ever done when trying to lose weight. If your not getting 800-1000 calories a day that may be the problem too. There's also a 'plateau buster' diet that some say works, if you're interested I think I have it saved and can hunt it up for you, just let me know. Here's to our glorious new year Barb

Welcome aboard, by the way sounds very normal to me......... Just hang in the the dreaded plateaus are a bear but this too will pass. I promise. change things up a *****ange what you eat or when you eat, or add more protein, or all of the above, or do what we all hate, wait, I know not funny , but, it works. lots of luck and patience

Welcome to the Ga boards! (wave) You are doing great with your weight loss! Are you exercising? At this point that is about the only thing I can see making a difference if you are following your nutritionist with regards to what you eat/don't eat. Kia
