Help!!!

I started the mall meals only to gain 4 pounds. What am I doing wrong. I had lunch today (tuna) and then went done 2 hours of exercise. And not even going to eat anything else today. anybody got any suggestions? Heather

Mall meals? Do you mean small meals? Are you required to lose weight before surgery? I agree with the above poster-lots of h2o and low carb, high protein if you want to lose fast. What did you do for exercise? I suggest walking for heavier folks. You need to get your HR up, so if it was something like lifting weights (which is good to do) you won't see the same type of aerobic benefit.

i am so glad my surgeon did not make me lose any weight before surgery, that is the last added stress i need. drink lots and lots of water is all i could say, and Good luck! Tammy

Meat, (only) green vegetables, and atl east eight glasses of water usually start weight loss for me. Blessings to you!!! You can do it! Love, Becky

If you only eat a little bit, and nothing else during the day, you could put yourself into "starvation" mode and not lose anything. Also, exercise produces muscle. A lb of muscle is smaller than a lb of fat. So, sometimes when it seems you've "gained" - what you've actually done is build more muscle, but lose fat and you're actually smaller!! I AGREE BEEN THERE DONE THAT I UPPED MY CALORIES TO 1200 TO 1400 AND ATE PROTEIN SHAKE FOR BREAKFAST HIGH PROTEIN LOW CARB MEALS FOR LUNCH AND DINNER I ALSO KEPT MY FAT DOWN TO 45 G A DAY I LOST 43 LBS SINCE AUG PRE OP HOPE THIS HELPS LOVE CANDY
