I came home to a denial letter. I'm so frustrated I could cry.. and cry. My insuanance changes 12/31/05 so I'm trying ot get my appeal letter in before that. I send and did everything i don't understand how they can still deny me. I have a BMI of 48 and have a history of obesity since 1997!!!!
Keep fighting....don't give up. Things have a way of working out. Replace those tears with a smile and keep pushing forward. Talk with your surgeons office, maybe they can help. Take care.

Laura, did they give a reason? Call your insurance and Peachtree to be sure your paperwork was in order. Sometimes, things get misplaced. Keep us updated!

WHAT TYPE OF INSURANCE DO YOU HAVE? I WAS DENIED ON 12/1/05 DUE TO LACK OF BENEFITS. I HAVE BCBSOF GA HMO. THEY ARE SO UNFAIR. I HAVE ALL THE DOCUMENTATION NEEDED TO BE QUALIFIED AS MEDICALLY NECESSARY.
