Oh where Oh Where has my......

thick HAIR GONE???? lol I was reading some of the post about hairloss. Then I discovered this morning when I was doing my hair, I was seeing a little more scalp than usual. Its like the hair monster came into my room when I was asleep and about scalped me, lol I went to my hairdresser tonight to see what she recommended. She cut my bangs towards the side to hide the thinned area and told me about some shampoo they had there at the store. Since they are trying to get rid of the old line before the new comes out, I got the shampoo and conditioner 50% off PLUS I got a military discount. (Which reminds me, if you are military, Kmart is giving discounts at the register). I asked my hairdresser about washing my hair everyday. She said that we need to wash and brush everyday. The scalp needs to be massaged to stimulate the folicles. But lets face, we had wls, we are gonna loose our hair. But every little advice might be helpful to someone else I am so glad I decided to go to Master Cuts. If anyone wants my hairdressers info, please email me and I will give it to you. She is awesome! She will also take her time to style your hair to make it look good. Not be rushed like most are. Hugs! Kimberly

oh, Not you too... But like I mentioned to Michelle K befoe: at least you have some nice hair to loose to start with...I know, I don't...I have nice color and very lively but CHICKEN FUR....If I were to start loosing right now, I'd need a wig in one week. I'm sure... I think the only reassuring thing about this whole hairloss situation is that at least our hair WILL Eventually grow back. I know that following birth of both of my babies I lost lots of hair 3-4 month after birth, but it all grew back. I have always "shedded" so seeing my hair everywhere was no surprise. But when I started seeing more and more in the brush and in the shower. Even though I am loosing my hair, my nails have never looked so GOOD! LOL Now just gotta get the rest in check! I am doing good other than that. Hope you are doing GREAT! Hugs, Kimberly B
