Thanks, Michelle..., , well, technically(sp?) I've only lost 56 lb. now in ove 4 months. One thing I know is that all of us who are using this tool right and following most of the rules will end-up at about 80% excess weight loss by our one year anniversary... right?. And that is darn encouraging. this past w/end I've got lots of positive comments, when I went to to my Son's play at the community Center...And there were many other parents that haven't seen me since their last semester Play....Oh, Boy....I almost had to give autographs to people....... just kidding... but it sure felt good to see people react. Of note I have heard other people in my support group and on OH boards talk about all kinds of negative comments, behaviours out of jealousy/envy when we loose major amount of weight. And their relations/friendships getting ruined just because of that. SOO....so far I haven't come across that myself...Even those people who were strongly against me having WLS (My Manager even shed tears and crossed me trying to talk me out of it), now are very-very positive about the whole thing. what is your experience with it? Ohh.... looks like I've got a case of logorrhea today... thanks for your reply, babe hugs, Rita

56 lbs is AWEOSOME- I am barely ahead of you- and I started off much more! Your kicking butt girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am praying that we loose 10 lbs a month- for the rest of year 1... I hope hope hope that stands true! Thats so awesome that people notice.. that has to make you feel wonderful Rita. I have had some trouble with 2 people- 1. My good friend who is overweight. We have been diet, fat buddies for years- and I left the club. We went shopping 2 weeks ago for formal gowns- It wasn't fun when I was getting into 16's ..and she was getting into 22's.... she got a lil crabby with me- and made me feel bad, because I was having good luck.... but then its a comparison thing..... she starts telling me her measurements, and telling me numbers that just couldn't be true (basically telling me we are the same size...why I have no idea!) .... I really have no idea how to explain, but our friendship dynamic has really changed. 2. My husband. I have caught him checking my computer- breaking into my email... etc. Him being jealous is going to be a problem, point blank. If its bad now, I cant imagine how it will be when I loose another 60 lbs. We fight a lot now- about everything..and have sex.... uhh never. Who knows what will happen :/ Congrats girl! You will hear me yelling for joy when I join 1derland!

Hey Michelle... Sorry about your experience with your friend...I can see how she could've felt insecure and maybe envious and acted out of that.... But your husband..... that's a whole different story....I'm sure it's hard to take....Mine has been joking with the issues of jelousy saying that now that I've lost weight and look "hot" (that's his opinion, not reality) he will have to byu me iron underware and lock them up before work every day.... SO far it's just a joke...But I know that it's common after WLS to have all kinds of marital problems. I just refuse to give into it. hugs, Rita

Hey, Kimberly....Thanks. I do believe I'm doing well.... as most of us are...it's a tremendous difference that this surgery unable us to do for ourselves As for "gorgeous"---I'm not at all, nor will I be...I'm not the right type for it...Just don't have the "breed".....
