OT - Wreck Update

It looks like they are going to "total" our van. It's a '97 with 131,000 miles on it. However, up until the wreck it was in pretty good shape!! The insurance guy has been on vacation this week and gets back on Monday. I guess now we begin the negotiations on how much. We hope to replace it without a car payment, but I'm not holding my breath. I got the name of a lawyer last night from a friend - one who specializes in these cases and gives a discount to lodge members (like my hubby!!). So, we'll see. I hope it doesn't have to come to that, but it may. My hubby is better, but still pretty sore and with the bronchitis, he's still pretty pitiful. He definitely wants "pain & suffering" added on to the price!! I'll keep you posted. Ann in Duluth

I hope everything works out. Also you get what you are asking. I know how a wrwck can disturb a life and it is hard to get back to the norm . I wish you much luck and support. I hope your husband feels better soon..Beth
