Hey GA gang!! I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. I haven't been on the boards for a few weeks. The day after Thanksgiving my old gall bladder decided it had had enough. I kid you not, one minute I was fantastic and the next I was doubled over in pain and nauseous. I do believe that for that whole week I was the sickest I have ever been. I have been trying to get under the 200 lb mark, but surely did not want to do it this way. Well, I weigh 196 now. I lost from 210 to 196...the hard way. I am better now that I had the gall bladder removed. Stubborn me I was trying so hard to keep it till the end of this school quarter. But it just wasn't gonna work. Thank the Lord above that I am doing my clinicals this week, with lifting restrictions. So, I won't be behind. A warning to anyone that still has their gall bladder. I did not have classic signs. So, be aware of that. Hope everyone is doing well. Take care. HUGGGSSSS!!! Tonya W

OMG!!!! Congratulations on your one derland status, sorry to hear about your gallbladder. I know all about it first hand even! Take it slow girl and dont hurt yourself trying to lift and tug at patients. I have been thinking about you and wondering how you are doing. Glad to know you are alright!! Hope you have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year! Hugs Kelly S

Yuck on the GB. I was to have mine out, and when I went in for surgery, during pre-op found out I was pregnant. So here I sit, 8 months pregnant with a bad gall bladder, and I can't take any pain meds for it. Fun huh?
