I need to vent!!!!!!!!!1

I need to vent and if I offend anyone I am sorry I just need to vent a minute or two. I went for my consultation andthe Dr. barely said 20 words to me, felt of my stomach, and I gave here everything except my Psych eval. she went out and came back and said lose 10 lbs. And left. Then I got the last piece of info I need (the Psych eval) to them on 11-22. Well yesterday after they said it would take 2 to 3 days to get it to the insurance she called and said she has not got the info from Dr. fields my surgeon's office. Today is the 4th and I was told by Yakima that she won't get it until Friday and that makes the 5th day. I wanted to have the surgery around the 19th so I could be ready and up and moving for xmas. Because I have 4 kids and they will be with their day from the 19 till Christmas Eve. I know I am being Childish, but my kids are out from dec 19th till January 9th so that my oldest could help while she is out. If I am wrong give me your opinion. Thanks!!!! For letting me Vent

Heather, What Insurance company do you have? If it's BCBS they approve in no time, and you could still have the 19th as your date. You may have to cram complications class, pre-pre-op days close together to get it, but it can be done. Hugs, Melissa Day of Surgery: 229 Now: 206

Oh, Hether! I sympathize with approval/pre-surgery frustrations/anxiety andI don't mean to offend you..... but please... get real.....You are talking about life-changing, life-long commintment type of of event here, and you want to "fit" it in your schedule so it doesn't interfere with your kids Holidays....c'mon now....I hope it works out the way you plan it, but even if it doesn't, and you schedule it later right after the New Year, it will still be ok in the end really...look at it in a bigger picture... and off the topic, I looked at your profile...Your kids are so very beatiful. best wishes to you, Rita.

Vent away, Girlfriend. For me, the waiting WAS the worst part! I hope everything works out for you! There is nothing childish about wanting the surgery at a time that is good for your family. Keep calling, and be sure to speak with a person. Don't settle for an answering machine. The folks at Peachtree have always been nice to me, so don't be afraid to call. You probably will want to make sure Yakima lets Dr. Fields know about your scheduling hopes. Dr. Fields has been very conscientious about getting back to me on several occasions!
