Feelin' Guilty

Hi All, I'm sorry I haven't been on lately...It's my WORST time of year, and have been working and trying to get my kid to pass the first semester of school. The cabin was FEEEE-NOM-IN-UL!!!!! (hee) (ok..for those of you not hooked on phonics...phenomenal! ) We had such a grand time, and it was amazing to have alone time with my fella. Good thing..cuz he is going to be working himself to DEATH between now and the end of the year. I will get back to the What did you eat today later tonight. To be very honest (and this goes against what my daily post is for) I had SOOOO horrifically, and was not in a good place about it, that I just couldn't post what I was eating and be honest about it. Normally I can, but just couldn't this week.. Don't know what my problem was... Additionally, I have been TOTALLY exhausted for some reason....I take b-12 sublingual daily, but I have left work daily and passed right out when I get home. One night as early as 7pm... Gotta work on that. I go tomorrow to have my gall bladder ultrasound done...been having some issues..so we'll see what the dealio is with that. Hope you are all doing well..I'm sorry I've been distant...I just had a down week...I'll get my proverbial S**T together and get back on here and get busy!! Love to all!!! Tami

Hi Tami, Sounds like fun! What cabin did you go and where? We have cabins up here in Blue Ridge so just wondering if you came here. I know what you mean about the tired thing. Im not usually tired when I am active but if I sit more than just a few mins I am ready for a nap. I know my iron and ferritin (and other labs) are normal so I am backing off of my iron supplements. I won't stop them just cut back to see if maybe I am taking too much. I just posted about donating blood and Im wondering if that is why I feel great a day or two after is becaue I am taking too much iron right now. I am trying to play a weekend getaway with my husband soon. Any suggestions? Jen

HI Jen! We were in Cherry Log... near Ellijay...we rented from a company called Sliding Rock Cabins...their website is the same... slidingrockcabins.com. The cabin we actually rented was "Misty Ridge". It was AMAZING!!! We had beautiful weather. The cabin itself was awesome. I was HIGHLY impressed with the cleanliness of it. They had little personal touches all over the place, and there is a little chalkboard outside, that personally welcomes YOU.. They had a journal book, where everyone would write in and tell of their time there in the cabin. It was so interesting to read about all the others who had visited before...people who had loved ones leaving for war, one couple was fleeing Katrina, newlyweds, and folks like us, on our first vacation together. IT was really relaxing and beautiful I HIGHLY Recommend them.

yep you were about 5 mins from my house. Anytime you want to try us out at the last resort let me know. We have hot tubs too! And I have also mentioned before that if anyone wants to get a Georgia get together up here I will give really good rates. Great Pic's. Don;t feel guilty !! But we missed ya I am glad you had a good time I have been out of control a little here myself.... I want so bad to lose at least four more pounds by my one year visit in a couple of weeks.. ( One year is actually tomorrow..but my visit is 12/6) but unless I get back on the band wagon that is not going to happen. So, starting tomorrow...start the WDYE posts please. I need to fess up to someone Going to key in that Weigh****chers cake into fit Day right now to be ready for ya tomorrow

Hey girl... I REALLY REALLY want to lose 10 before New Years...cuz I am going to PHILLY to meet Joe's mom and all his friends!! AND I'm going to walk in the Mummers Parade with him! FUN! So.... I GOTTA get it together if I want that 10 off! Ok gal..the post is there...let's go for it!!!

How COOL !! The mummers parade and Philly will be great. Just remember to dress in layers You CAN get that ten pounds off. Let's just try the no carb thing for a couple of weeks. It will come off Joe's mom will love you....10 pounds or not. She could not help but love you
