I went to full liquids at 4 days out. The paperwork Dr. Duncan gave us says three to seven so I did four and I have been doing fine with it. I know I got tired of the broth real quick also and now I am getting tired of instant potatoes! lol! I am glad you are recovering well!

Sandy I did full liquids at 7 days out but I lived on the s/f popsicles myself. You think you are hungry or do you think you might be mistaken that for gas going through the tummy? Hugs girl Melissa

Renee I ate about 3 bites of applesauce last night and that did it. Was full. So gonna try and slowly intergrate the full liquids til wednesday. I hiope i do as well as you. Ann thanks for the kind words of support they are so much appreciated. Melissa you know i think it was gas and the fact my niece talked about thanksgiving alot yesterday not meaning to but mad me have head hunger and then sister had the wonderful looking chili dogs looked good smelled awful though so who knows. Did try some watered down potato soup tonight and well feel like i ate a brick so back to chicken broth i guess it will come in good time. Now where did i put those gas drops. Still waiting to hear how well you did on your one month post op appt?

Girl they (the Dr's ) were kinda disappointed in me, I had only lost 20 lbs and they said I should have lost more. I thought I was considered a "lightweight" and that was why. They said when I come back in January that they don't wanna recognize me. I was told to get in 64 oz of liquids a day plus 2 protein shakes, I've made it to 1 sgake a day, I'm still working on number 2.
