getting upset
I have been feeling so bad this last week. Even thou I have not weighed I fill that I'm at a stand still and not losing. I'm starting to have a time with heartburn and I fill tired a lot. My blood pressure is better than its ever been and so is my sugar, I sleep so much better and I know all of this is good but I just fill I should see more results. I hate to complain maybe its just a phase I'm going thru.Is it normal to feel this way? Please

Know exactly how you feel. I just got off a plateau and starting losing again but it was very frustrating. For awhile there, I thought I had hit that "stop losing" phase early...I'm so glad I got restarted.
Some tips:
1-make sure your taking your vitamins (multivitamin and B12 esp)
2-make sure your getting ALL your water in
3-make sure your exercising at least 3-4x week for 40-45min
don't do the same routine everyday (cardio class, swimming,
bike riding, precor/treadmill)...mix it up so your body doesn't
get used to the same-ole
4-do your food journal for a few weeks and examine everything
you are eating...esp making sure your getting all your protein
5-only weigh-in no more than 1x week. It's good to know where
you are and your own success but more than than sets your
mind up for failure

You gotta hang in there girl, it will get better. I have had several stalls adn I really think now it is the same week to 10 days out of the month so must be hormonal but I seem to keep loosing inches. I had my surgery 3 mos ago on the 24th and have lost 48 pounds now since the surgery and many have lost more but have quit all the worry and just stick to my routine and get all my protein and water (that seems to really make a difference)then I will loose 4 pounds in a couple of days. We will get there, some of us just a little slower than others.
I went through a period of feeling tired too and had cut out my protein drinks and was trying to get all the protein in with meat etc. and that just did not work, now that I have gone back to the protein drinks I am doing better.
I have some isopure chocolate pkgs I am not going to use if you want them I will bring them to the Dec. get together. I have some spiratein vanilla powder too if you want that. I think the protein will help you all around.

Judy thanks so much. I went to the doctor Mon. they wanted to check for blood clogs, my legs has been hurting so bad since i've started excer. but everything was ok. Just some problems i was haveing before surgery. Anyway I'm glad to report I've lost 52lbs which give me a total of 93lbs. with what i lost before surgery. I really needed that pick me up. I'm going to get back on my protein and look forward to seeing you in Dec. thanks for the protein.........
