Updated information from plastics consult

I wanted to let you all know I FINALLY got a reply from my insurance..... (Just a small re-cap....I went to the PS for a consult on AUGUST 22 and found out they didn't send in the request for approval until the END of OCTOBER.....apparently the file got buried on the doctor's desk - yet I KNOW they got paid for the office visit almost immediately.) My insurance gave me a notice that my file is PENDING until they get copies of photos showing where the pannus hangs to so they can see it is medically necessary. For those who know me I do have a large pannus (that clothing hides well) and I'm PRAYING that this will get approved. I do know that the rest of my plastics (if I do any) will have to be self pay - but Please PRAY that this gets approved! Thanks guys! Dee Dee
