Nectar Lemon Tea

I just purchased the Nectar Lemon Tea. It has a funny smell to it or is it me? When I put the bottle to my mouth, i can smell this funky smell I'm drinking it with Crystal Lite tea mix. I haven't had surgery yet. I was getting started on the liquid diet. Thanks, Jackie

HOw does it taste mixed with Crystal Light? I think the Isopure fruit drinks have a yucky smell too. I soooo need more protein! I tried to drink some chocolate whey protein mixed with some milk and added a little more chocolate flavor, and something about the whey makes me incredibly nauseous. So, I try to drink lots of plain milk and eat high protein foods. I know it isn't optimal, but it is the best I can do.

This is my all-time favorite. I use the Crystal Lite lemonade flavor with it and it tastes so good to me. The Nectar Cherry Berry, Crystal Sky and Fuzzy Navel taste good also. I use the Crystal Lite lemonade in all of them. If I want a hot drink, I use the Nectar Cappuccino flavor, a little Splenda and water...I'm good to go. I'm still pre-op so it was important to find something I like. I just hope my tastes don't change once I have surgery.
