Is there anyone who has been told they are still eating too much? I am 1 1/2 years after my surgery. I am getting no help except I am told I am eating too much. People larger than me who have had the surgery after me are smaller than me and I do not know why. I am getting very depressed and upset over the whole situation and no one seems to care or help me out. I have lost 73 pounds and stopped for the last 6 months. My blood sugars keep droping out and I am hungry. All I am told is just eat something beforee bed. Before surgery I was told never go to bed after you eat. I'm totally screwed up right now, HELP!

Maybe you need to see another doctor for a second opinion on why you have stopped losing weight, especially if your current one is not acting like they care. Have you tried a food diary (writing down everything you eat and drink for a week), it will show if you are consuming too much sugar and carbohydrates over the course of a week. Remember protien is good, sugar and carbs will cause you to gain. If you keep it honestly- it will show what is happening with your eating and calories. Get some excerise tapes and do them at home where it is safe. You can possibly check them out at the library or buy them at the store. Do what you can do and dont overdo it. Remember the WLS surgery is just a tool for you to use. Best wishes
