Need some advice

OK i am down to 4 1/2 days til surgery. I have all the stuf from the grocery list but what all should i take to the hospital? Anything stick out that i should take in particular just want to be prepared. Stephanie Polen have a question for you where did you stay the night before surgery and can i possibly get a # from you Jeff wants to stay close to the hospital since i have too be there at 6:30 whick puts us leaving at 3:30 in the morning on wednesday not something even i want to do. So any info will be appreciated. Still in shock it is happening sooo fast wow keep me in your prayers please i am an emotional rollercoaster right now is that normal? thanks in advance and have a great day, sandy

For me the only things I really used were baby wipes, flushable wipes, tongs to help with the wiping, and liquid lortab for the way home. I hadn't had any pain meds in a while so I was allowed to take it before I left the hospital. The pillow helped too. Sometimes when I walked the halls I wore some slippers and threw a robe around me with just one arm through it because of the iv. Felt more covered that way. Good luck with your surgery...
