Rough walk through on how to post your own pictures!

Hopefully this will try to explain how to post your own pictures. 1) Open a free online photo storage account with http://www.photobucket.com 2) Upload pictures to your Photobucket account (called PB from now on PB for photobucket). ---a) Towards the top of your PB page, you will see an area for Add pictures. Assuming the pictures you want to add are located on your computer, you would click the BROWSE button on the right side of the screen and PB will open a new window for you to search your computer for the name of the photo you want to upload. I suggest naming your pictures something other then photo1, photo2, etc. to make them easier to find. Try names like "200 pounds" or "me and Johnny." ---b) Highlight the name of the picture you want to upload and click OPEN. The popup window disappears and you see your destination to your picture in the "picture" box next to the browse button. ---c) Click SUBMIT and the submit button greys out and changes to the word "uploading" while PB uploads your selected picture. ---d) scroll down once the upload is complete (and it may take awhile depending on the size of the photo you are uploading!) and you will see your new photo on the PB page! 3) Now that you have a photo on PB, you want to put it on your profile! Here's how you do that! Under that new photo you just uploaded you will see three lines under titled in blue URL TAG and IMG. Each of those has a bunch of text in a box to the right. The one we need is the TAG line. You need to copy ALL of the text in that TAG box (and there is more then what you can see! Place your cursor to the left of the For example, MY link to my mothers photo is this long "" Once you have the entire line highlighted in blue, right click your mouse once and a list of things you can do will pop up. Select COPY from this list. This copies the tag line for you. 4) Now that you have copied the photo information, open up a new, second internet page (keeping your PB open in the background just incase you did not copy all the information) Go to your profile on Obesity Help, log in as usual, and go to GENERAL INFO "update your profile" (where you type in your updates, etc) scroll down to the comments box area - this is where you will put that html code you copied from PB. Scroll down to where you want to put your picture. Enter to create a new line and right click the area which will bring up a selection of things you can do. Select PASTE from this list and your photo code line will show up in your profile. Tadah! Now when you view your page, you will see the photo where that long code line is. Keep in mind if you are updating your page, you will only see that code line instead of your picture. You need to view your profile to actually see the picture. That's about it. Hopefully we will see a lot more pictures on folks profiles!
