Hey all! I finally put some pics up on my profile- now you can put a face with the name I have a question about insurance- will they make you wait until you've had it a year to apply for the surgery? Valarie

you can apply once your insurance is active ...But i would wait at least 90 days before i allpied but your good to go once you have active insurance ......So go for it Laura

Valarie, Did you have a lapse of coverage before? The reason why I am asking is that when I went for my approval, they had to have a certificate of coverage showing that there was no lapse in coverage. You get it from a previous employer. It was kind of a pain to track down, and if you might have to get it, start that know. I see on your profile, that your hubby works for Air Tran? Is he by chance an aircraft mechanic? Mine is, so that why I was asking. Mine works for Raytheon Aircraft. Anyway, good luck! Cathy

I have never had insurance until now- It became effective over the summer as an EPO, and it will be changing to a PPO soon.

Hubbie works at the call center in our little town.
