After reading you posts and your profile I feel like I got reenergized through it.... you are so informative and also sound very ambitious with your WLS journey...It's great....Thank you...I'm almost 3 mo. out and I've hit a major plateu for the last 2.5 weeks.....was feeling kinda... down about it, but reading your posts and profile helping me (I hope) to snap out of it... take care, and thanks again, best wishes, Rita
We can do this Rita! Plateaus are good! Remember it is not a plateau if you are loosing inches. A Plateau is defined as no change in weight or inches lost for I think about 6 weeks straight. You body needs time to adjust. When I run, very often I have to stop and walk for a while...for my body to catch the oxgyen it needs to go again. Same with your weight loss. Your body is just catching its breath to go again for another round of shedding! You're doing great! Follow the water, vitamins, protein and exercise challenges each day. We'll get there together...just some of us faster than others! My grandma would always say "a horse and a donkey will cross the same finish line although the horse will get there quicker than the donkey!"

Vanessa, Just wanted to say your new pic looks great! You are such a beautiful woman! Thanks for the challenge and the support for today-I will do it!! I'm climbing back on the wagon after lastnight's candy splurge. I didn't do that bad though, considering it was my daughter's birthday and Halloween-my favorite holiday! We can do this! My goal is to be at the 100lb. loss mark by the end of December. Take Care! Rachel
Yes we can! I don't even want to tell you about my COOKIE CRUMBLE last night! It was not pretty, but I am on it again today...each day is new, that's the beauty about getting the gift of life...a new day to start afresh! I know you will hit your goal! Can't wait to see the post annoucing your accomplishment!

Hi, Beautiful Daughter! (LOVE, LOVE the new pic) It's great to see you posting more. You inspire me! I think I can handle one thing at a time. For this week, I will begin getting in my water daily. Doing my devotion each morning needs to also be a priority. If I do that regularly, it will be a major change. BTW, I love your suggestions on protein. Keep them coming!

I also need to make my devotions every morning a priority. I sometimes get up and head straight for the gym without acknowledging the ONE who gives me the strenght to get up! So we will do the same this week. That will be my change also!
