I was 2 weeks out yesterday and I started eating chicken Thursday with NO problems, I tried fish Saturday and got nausous. Since I'm never hungry, I am absolutely sick of eating foods of any kind. I know I need to for the protein and I am, it's just when I think of food I'm like, bluhhhhhh Melissa Dr. Ejey (Duncan's Office) Lap RNY- 10/17/05 July, SW - 241.5/ Nov., CW - 214/GW - 135 - 27 lbs gone forever

I think almost everyone goes through it.. Its amazing when you see food as energy, rather than a source of enjoyment or satisfaction! Dont worry the hunger comes back... but its not like it was preop.. its more of a, I know I need to eat feeling!

Its not hunger..as we know it pre op... Its this feeling... that you get that tells you, that its time! Its not that starving feeling.... Its weird to explain.. but you know when you should eat...!

Try tuna salad...or the chicken salad which is already chopped and soft. I hope that you're not eating regular chicken so soon. I'd definitely suggest peanut butter and refried beans to get some protein in at 2 weeks.
