Hello all, well I am now on the losing side. I will be a week out tomorrow and can feel some weight loss. I must say that dealing with the food issue is a lot more than I expected. I never really noticed how many food commercials etc are really on TV until I can't eat those things I am dealing with it though. Hubby went and bought me a new computer so that I could be on here to chat with everyone about my issues Hes so sweet Anyway Dr. Duncan did my surgery and everything went well. I got up and walked just a little bit on the first day out of surgery I am not one for pain and the gas was horrible. I had it bad for the first 3 or 4 days. I am now getting to feel a little better. I am wondering what people were eating around this time in their journey. Things get old Anyway I will post later I am going to take the kids trick or treating with hubby but instead of walking like I normally do we are taking the car I don't want to get out there and get too tired Nalani

Hi, Nalani, Welcome to the losing side! At one week, I was loving watery mashed potatoes and Campbell's Soup at Hand (sippable soups). I also loved the Dole's sugar-free fruit pops. I am glad you are feeing better! Take it easy! Hugs, Becky

Hey Nalani!!!!! Welcome to LOOSERVILLE! I am so glad that things worked out and you were able to have the surgery. I know its been a very long and trying journey for you! You are still in my prayers! At one week, I was drinking alot of chicken broth, soups & apple sauce. I was also eating the SF popsicles. The more time that passes, the more you should be able to tolerate. I know when I came home from the hospital, all I watched was the Food Channel. I know, I was looking for punishment! Hugs!!! Kim
