Big WOW moment!

Hello to everyone--so sorry I've not been able to keep up with the board lately. Teaching school keepe me busy enough-but I'm also currently in class two nights a week myself. Add in my family and their schedules---well...you all know what I mean cuz you're all living it too, I'm sure. Had a major WOW moment this week. My mom works at the same school as I do. Last week I was in her room in the afternoon and noticed a pic hanging on her desk from last Christmas. I almost passed out! There I was--big as the side of a barn. I could NOT get over how I looked! Here's the great thing about photos of our old selves: I have had trouble seeing my weight loss. I still see myself as the same me I was. I see the 90 pound loss (yes NINETY!) on the scale...but I don't see myself as much thinner in the mirror. Well, this pic helped me SEE I've REALLY lost some weight!!!! I look totally different. I think it would help me to keep an old photo of myself hidden in my wallet. Then I can visually remind myself of where I've come from. Also...I have trouble with shopping, too. I've moved to the misses dept. I KNOW I can wear those regular 18's and sometimes 16's (more frequently the 16's now!)...but I still find myself heading to the 20's. Anyone else have this trouble? What's up with that??? Thanks... Michelle

Hi, Michelle, Congrats on ninety pounds gone forever. You've caught me!!! I still see myself as fluffy...probably always will. It's a head thing! Glad to hear from you, Dear Lady! I hope you are having a great year. My class is FUN!!! I've never had better screamers when I tell "not too" scary stories. Give your mom a hug for me! Hugs to you too, Becky
