I've been gone a very long time but......

I was finally approved and I will be having sugery in six days. I just wanted to let you all know. I am so happy to finally have the chance. My story is finally in my profile.

Oh my gosh, I am SOOOOOOOOO happy for you. My thoughts, prayers and good wishes are with you! I understand the realization that you are a food addict; I crawled in a hole for a week or two when that washed over me. At 2 months post-op I still struggle with it, but the world is opening up. You know the world that awaits you, and all that you will have to offer yourself and your family. Congratulations! Carolyn D

Hi there....I'm so glad you are finally at this stage....I read your profile, and I remember your posts from about 2-3 months ago. I have a lot of respect for you for being able to handle things the way you did, not just getting frustrated and angry but rather try to resolve things in a positive way. I'm also very happy that you chose to have Dr. Procter as your surgeon. I have a lot of trust in him and his partner (he's my doc too). the best of luck to you.
