I am 14 months out from having surgery. I have lost 140 lbs. Wanted to share my plastic surgery information. Northeast Florida Plastic Surgery Center Dr. Eric Weiss Jacksonville, FL For a Abdominoplasty (reduction and removal of excess skin from my abdomen, flanks and buttocks) Thighplasty (removal, tightening, lifting of excess skin of my inner and outer things) subpectoral augmentation mammoplasty (enlargement of my breasts by insertion of saline-filled implants under the muscle) operating room, anesthesia, equipment, impants and garments Total cost $17,190. He specializes in post gastric bypass skin removal. He advised in my case and it goes by person and skin to be removed etc that I could have all the above done in one procedure. I am so excited. I have 6 months to find financing, make payment arrangements etc.... The cost is without any insurance being paid. So once I get a job!!! and see what insurance I have I will look into getting the cost lower. I am excited that the cost is reasonable. Wanted to pass on his name and information since Jacksonville is not that far for some of you in south GA. Passing on his website ericweissmd.com. Add the www at the beginning. His staff was very professional. I got a robe to put on and stayed covered while he lifted, pulled and shifted! Did not feel ashamed or embrassed. This for me is the last step on my journey. Can't believe all the highs or the lows and wouldn't trade any of them. Lynn L. Weight: 253 now 113lbs. Clothes: Size 22/24 now ZERO/ junior 1/2/ girls 14's. Shoes: Size 8 now 6 1/2 Life again PRICELESS.

Lynn, You look wonderful great job! I had Abdominoplasty, Breast lift with Augmention on September 7th. Dr. Bill Mitchell was my ps out of Brunswick GA. he was wonderful and his staff very professional. I was lucky as my insurance covered my TT and I had to pay for the lift and Augmention. It's been a world wind of emotions since surgery, they have been good, bad , sad and just what have I done to myself. Don't get me wrong I'm glad I did it all it's just a big adjustment to the new you. Your body will go through so many changes in the next 6 to 8 weeks as all the healing and swelling goes down and they seem rapid, as with the weight loss it's a little slower and our minds have time to take it all in. Well I wish you luck with all your procedures. I do have one thing of advice for you to take your pain meds on time don't wait and think you can do without and don't need it. Once the pain sets in it's alot harder to control it and it will take you alot longer to heal and feel better. I know my husband was in charge of my pain meds and the bottle said I could only have one vicodin every 6 hours and the doctor had said I could have 2 vicodin every 4 hours so that was a big difference. Once Dr. Mitchell told my husband it was alright to have 2 instead of 1 It was alot more tolerable. The first few days were very uncomfortable until I got the meds I needed. My husband was just following the directions and didn't want me to overdose because I was pain and wanted more then was prescribed.
