I HEARD FROM HARRIETT HUGHES!!
Hi All,
I heard from Harriett, and she gave me permission to copy & paste her email message to me on here for you all to see. Also, she said I could show you her pictures, so I have added them to my yahoo photos, (link below)
There is a photo of Harriett (LOOKS GREAT!) and the next photo is of her son, daughter in law and 2 grandkids. (The DIL had WLS not long after Harriett did.)
(For those of you who don't know Harriett, she was my FIRST angelette, and a wonderfully lovely person. After WLS she suffered some non WLS related health problems and her health has been pretty fragle. I talk to her husband from time to time, but finally got an email from Harriett)
Here's the email:
Hi Tami
I'm doing fine still alive and kicking proved the Dr wrong my heart is healed by God hand not the Dr's i've gone passed there 6mo to a year to live. My hear was only working 1/3 and was not surpose to get better but now 3/4 of it's working now. How's things going for you? Leon is fine we moved to Ellijay that's a long trip back to town. I'm sending you a picture of me now and one of my oldest son's family. Love you and God bless. Lost your phone number in the move. If you don't mind send me yours and i'll give you a call. Send me a picture of you now. My sons wife on the picture is the one that had the surgery right after me. I've lost 146 lbs and she has lost 127 the last time I ask.

I am glad you heard from Harriett, I was thinking about her the other day and wondering how she was doing! I met her at the October get together last year and boy has she changed!!! She looks great! I hope she is feeling as good as she looks. Thanks for keeping us posted!
Also, has anyone heard from Martha Marion? I dont think I have seen any posts from her in awhile???
