WHAT DID YOU EAT TODAY? 09-28-05

I DID IT!!!!!!!!! I DID NOT graze when I got home from work last night!!!! THANK YOU LORD!! Man...it was HARD!! I didn't actually eat my dinner, so when I got home, I did really well, but the urge to scrounge was FIERCE...so I scrambled a couple of eggs, and when I thought I was going to hit the cupboards I went to bed and hid under the covers!!! That way the evil head hunger boogey man couldn't GET ME!!! Ok...so here's today.... Breakfast - Protein Shake - 40g protein - Unjury chocolate in skim milk Coffee No morning snack Lunch - Mandarin Chicken from Panda Express. TRIED to get them to sell it to me WITHOUT that evil rice, but they kept insisting "You getta de lice for flee!! You should take!!" It wasn't worth fighting so I came back, ate the chicken first, and only a few bites of the rice, and before I could gnosh on that rice for the rest of the day, I took that durn plate and chunked it in the big NASTY trash can in the breakroom. (if I'd put it in the one at my desk, I'd be smelling it, and using the logic that none of the PAPER that I threw away would have touched the food safely secure in the styrafoam container, I'd HAVE PULLED THAT PUPPY OUT!! - ever see the Seinfeld episode with George eating out of the trash!? LOL!) Afternoon snack...GRAPES! Thank the good Lord for those man...I can TRULY say the grapes are making the biggest difference. When I want to gnosh on something, grapes are something you can keep dipping in, just like you would potato chips or french fries, only they are GOOD for ya! (AND...they keep ya regular! EWWWWWWWW!!!! Did she REALLY SAY THAT???!!!) Ok..no dinner yet, but I am gonna finally eat that piece of BBQ chicken breast from yesterdays lunch that is in the fridge here at the office. I have had all my vitamins and B-12 and ALMOST all my water. I will get the water in before I go home, and assume I'll have some coffee before I go as well. Once again, I ask for your good vibes/prayers to assist me with that "GNOSH PIT" at home! LOL! That is where I ALWAYS fall apart! But YAY me! No Froot Loops last night..and NO Krispy Kremes that I made my kid TAKE OUT OF THE HOUSE TODAY!! LOL! I am learning that it is VERY important to celebrate the little victories instead of beating myself up for the little slip & falls. Victories since last post: **No Froot Loops **No Krispy Kremes **No "GnoshPit" **Went to bed before eating more **DRANK WATER BEFORE BED INSTEAD OF EATING SOMETHING **THREW AWAY THE EVIL RICE **DRANK ALLLLLL MY WATER **DIDN'T EAT THAT LONE TOOTSIE POP IN THE CANDY JAR RIGHT NEXT TO THE PRINTER, EVEN THOUGH IT BEGGED ME TO ALL 8 ZILLION TIMES I WENT TO PICK UP A PRINT TODAY! **PASSED BY ANGIE'S CANDY JAR EVERY TIME - NO TOUCH-A **DIDN'T DIP INTO THE CANDY MY KID IS SELLING!! BIG NO TOUCH-A Let's hear your victories today! It doesn't matter HOW small! If you did well...passed something up you REALLY wanted....only ate a portion of the amount you REALLY wanted... Put something away so it wouldn't be a temptation.... EXERCISED! Even if just a little bit! LIST YOUR VICTORIES FOLKS!! Ok...What did YOU eat today?

Tami, I was not that good today! For breakfast I had 4 south beach diet cookies, for lunch I had a protein shake, snack was a south beach diet cereal bar, dinner was another protein shake and two more cookies, and then a small apple before I went to bed. I think I got in most of my water and of course all my vitamins, but I did not exercise-cramps! That time of the month, otherwise I could have resisted those cookies. I have learned that those are a big no-no for me to have in the house!! I will do better tommorow-Ihope!

South Beach has COOKIES?? MMMM!!! I only knew about the cereal bar!! *drooling and licking my chops!* **Oh! oops....back to the matter at hand.... Ok...not the most balanced day, but hey!! You DID get your protein in and most of your water.... So...your victories for today: ** Got all protein in ** Drank MOS****er ** Took ALL vitamins! Honey....I've said before...when it's my time, I could eat everything in the kitchen cupboards, then take off on the cabinets and dining room furniture too! LOL! Give yourself a break today, realize today was what it was, and know that tomorrow (today) is "anutha day" as Miss Scarlett would say! I'm thinkin I better not even investigate the cookies.... I always say that anything bad for me that I a) don't know about or b) have never tried c) don't like are just meant for me NOT to be around and it's a GOOD thing! LOL!

I refuse to comment on yesterday But to use a verse from a Lee Ann Womack song-- Lord, I hope this day is good I'm feelin empty and misunderstood I should be thankful, Lord, I know I should But Lord I hope this day is good I swear today is going to be good

Maureen, you crack me up! Here's a hug girl!! This day will be good. Listen, you GOTTA do good today to make up for me...they are having Mexican FIESTA day at work! OH LAWD!!!

Geeze... I want a Fiesta and a Siesta So far so good today...just threw out 1/2 the bag of chips I was munching.. Even stomped on them so I would not be tempted to retrieve Man, I am pitiful !! OK..for Fiesta, just eat the insides of everything.... Beans and cheese and meat are good..... tacos,and carbs are bad ..LOL

Who are you calling pitiful?? Remember me, the person that had to take her trash to a nasty big can so I wouldn't retrieve it from my paper wastebasket! ?! Girl we gotta do, what we gotta do!! SO!! There's a VICTORY FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!! !! **Threw out 1/2 bag of chips **STOMPED on them to make sure couldn't eat them. -Tami

let's see...I GORGED myself yesterday!!!!! B - COFFEE - Nature's laxative!!!! snack - baked potato chips l- green beans, about 1/3 of a grilled chicken breast and about 3 "whole" potatoes d- peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Drank about 32 oz of water and 3 m&m cookies....BAD BAD BAD!!!! (But ther were SOOOOOOO Yummy!)

Oh Man, Well if Coffee is Nature's Laxative, then my Mexican Fiesta today was a COLON BLOW!!!!!!!!! LOL! MAN! Girl, you did super good at lunch!! And Dinner didn't SUCK! You drank a lot of water! So give yourself credit!!!
