looking for a good drink!

I am looking for some protein drinks to try before I have surgery, just see what they taste like. I know that my taste buds might change a little after surgery, but I was just wondering what some of you might recommend. Hit me with your best shot!!!!!!! Ken

Hey Ken! I have tried several since my surgery a month ago. Everything I tasted was extremely too sweet for me. I finally tried Advant Edge Carb Control at Walmart. They are the only ones I can drink. You get a 4 pack of 11oz for $5.86. Kinda expensive when you start drinking them alot. They aren't too thick and go down pretty smooth for me. They are 100 calories each and give ya about 15g of protein. Hope this helps! Take care. Kimberly

Ken...Isopure is kind of like koolaid it is so awesome...my favorite is Grape Freeze....

What kind of makeup do you wear??? or are you blessed with just beautiful skin? If it's Mary K, Im in trouble cuz that's what I wear and I do NOT look like that! Haha! Congrats on your weight loss!

Hi, Ken! First of congrats on finally getting to the stage that you are at with the surgery (Inever replied to your posts but I was "following" them.)... as for drinks...I've trieda great bunch of them.... best in my opinion is "extreme smoothie" by VHT.... taste, nutrition/calories/protein content are great: 160-170 kCals, 35 g. of Protein, only 1g. sugar, and NO chemical aftertaste... but here is a difficult/bad part about it: it's hard to get (check VHTbody.com with www in front) , and it's pricy too: about 2$ per can. I bought it to try from my Dr.'s office (and it's not very convinient for me), but somebody mentioned that they may have them at Nutriotion Depo....haven't been there yet...Anyway, good luck finding good one for you, and with the sugery in general...Rita.
