Hi Carolyn, Sounds like you and I both struggle in the afternoon/evening. It is my TOUGHEST time. I do GREAT at work, then come home, and lose it. I don't know if it's cuz I associate coming home and plopping on that couch with grazing and eating (cuz that's what I did pre-op). Maybe I need to rearrange the furniture or something and get a new perspective. Ok...so just remember (here's what's been helping me!) Everything I put in this piehole of mine, I have to tell you guys about! Soooo I figured I'd better get my act together before you all did an intervention on me! LOL! Really, I'm CERTAINLY NO expert on food...so I don't know about the seafood stuff (I HATE seafood) but those carbs are EVIL! LOL! I KNOW what you are saying about the licking...just to get that taste.... I will admit to EARLY EARLY on...chewing up a bit of this or that, then chunking it. Now I KNOW...(please make sure this is understood so I don't get flamed) I KNOW that was the WORST WORST thing I could do...It's a TERRIBLE habit to start, so I stopped it right away.... but man, I can relate to wanting something really really bad! Let me ask you...what flavor Protein pudding do you have? Is it good? I have a cup of it in the fridge, and just haven't been able to make myself try it yet. Tami

I have "Snack & Slim" from bariatriceating.com. It comes in chocolate and vanilla. Not bad, but I make sure its always cold. I have been bringing one in my lunch bag for a late afternoon snack, in case my day gets too long. There is a good one by Sly Stallone (of all people) called InStone. You can find it at several of the discount sites on-line. Just Google protein pudding. I got a sample, it was pretty good. Plus they have banana & lemon flavors too.
