WHAT DID YOU EAT TODAY? 09-27-05

MUCH BETTER DAY!!!!!!!!! YAY ME!! (So far........) I MUST do better when I get home...NO grazing... So far... Breakfast - Coffee. Lunch - BBQ chicken thigh/leg - (Saved the breast for dinner, cuz YES, I will be at the office) Had some baked beans with my lunch and here's my small victory.... I DIDN'T get the Mashed Potatoes I wanted.. I GOT BROCCOLI!! YAY ME AGAIN!!! WOO HOOO!! Snack - grapes. So far have had 34 oz of water, but will get my 64 oz in before end of the evening. Dinner is gonna be the chicken breast that I didn't eat at lunch, along with a few more baked beans. I ate all the broccoli at lunch. Ok... so keep your fingers crossed/ or pray for me, which ever you are good with, that I can end this evening without getting into the Froot Loops at the house or the DAMN Krispy Kremes that my kid bought and left WIDEASSED open on the table to meet me when I walked in the door last night. (I resisted...but I didn't resist the stupid Frosted Flakes...) I GOTTA do this today. It's IMPORTANT to my self esteem... PLEASE SEND YOUR GOOD VIBES! SO...what was YOUR poison today?

Egg sandwich for breakfast and another for lunch. Dinner I had 1/2 can green beans and 1/2 can corn. Ok maybe 3/4 on each. I was hungry. water water water Tami, you better be in bed instead of online at 3:00 AM when I get home. Huggz

I am 5 months out, do you think i am eating enough? My scales haven't moved in 2 or 3 weeks. I can't be through losing....can I?

Nooooooooooooooo my fellow Tammy...you are NOT through losing yet. You will find yourself on MANY MANY plateaus on this journey. Just when you think you won't lose ANOTHER pound and how this surgery just wasn't meant to work for you, you will have another drop! Increase your protein when you are concerned you are not losing. It's hard for me to say if you are eating enough, because we are all very different. Just follow your doctor's requirements, drink tha****er, and get that protein in, and WATCH THE CARBS..they are definite scale stallers! Remember this post, and your question and then look back in another 2 or 3 months and you will get a grin out of the fact you thought you were done! Can't wait to meet ya girlie!!

Well, see.... I really WAS in bed when you got home...but I had woken up and couldn't sleep... ( I have a laptop with a wireless connection) Sooooo...no promises that I won't be awake...but...you remember I wasn't long for the world...I passed RIGHT back out. You did great today also... I MADE it through today....HOORAY! Here's to another good day tomorrow. Tami

Tami, today I did better. At breakfast I had oat meal and 6 oz. carb countdown milk. At lunch 1 oz. turkey jerky, 1 oz. string cheese and 1/2 carton of yogurt. At supper I had 1/2 cup butter beans and 3 oz. chicken and 1/2 cup of broccoli salad and a slice of tomato. Snacks: 2 Table spoons of PNB and 1/2 slice whole wheat bread and later I had a protein drink , I walked 15 minutes on the tread mill and this after noon I walked to my sisters house. I was out of work today , thanks to Gov. Pardue, so I cooked for 3 hours!!! I cooked 15 pounds of boneless chicken breast and froze it in packs for a meal for my hubby and me. I also cooked a gallon and a half of veg. soup made with Morning Star ( stuff made from soy that taste like ground beef ) grillers . So I've got over 2 weeks of meals fixed now, so maybe I'll do better. Have a good day tomorrow. Judy

WAY TO GO JUDY!!!! Looks like it was in the stars for BOTH of us to do better today! I actually didn't eat the chicken for dinner, I guess that will be lunch... BUT... I ALSO didn't get into the Froot Loops OR the Krispy Kremes... Instead ate some eggs for dinner...Now I want something else, so I NEED to go to bed instead of acting out on it. WE CAN DO THIS JUDY!! We'll stick together and coach each other through this!! Thanks for your support and you know ANYTIME you wanna catch me, you know how to find me!! Good Luck tomorrow girlie!! Looks like we won TODAY's battle!

o.k., this is just weird, I actually look forward to seeing what everyone-especially you Tami- have to eat everyday. I think I was pretty good today. Breakfast -protein shake.lunch-kid's chicken nugget meal from chick-fil-a, snack-peanuts, dinner-protein shake and water throughout the day.
