Hi everyone, I had my 3 month appt. on Friday and I have lost a total of 53 pounds. Everything else seems to be okay. I'm still not able to tolerate meat. I never thought I would not like to eat meat considering I was such a meat eater before surgery. Dr. Shannon told me not to worry about that , that some people are still not able to tolerate meat at 6 months out. It just depends on the person. My energy level has finally come back and I really feel great. I'm still having a hard time trying to get in all my vitamins, water and protein. I still do a protein shake every morning but other than that I have a hard time getting the rest in, between all the other things I have to do in a day. People at work are starting to notice that I'm losing weight and are asking me what are you doing and I reply I have cut back ALOT on eating, exercise and drinking lots of water Congratulations to all of the new losers and soon to be losers Sandra and Melissa. GREAT NEWS Shon!!! You are doing sooo well!! I don't think I was allowed to have beef until 3 mos out. Chicken I could have and didn't have any real problems, but some do have a tough time with it. Keep up the great work! I'm so proud for you! Tami

Thanks Tami, I only tried beef in chili and it didn't work well with me. I have tried chicken, turkey and lunchable ham and turkey and they do not sit well with me at all. I can however tolerate tuna with no problem. I also wanted to ask what kind of vitamins everyone is taking? Shon

Glad to see you posting I am taking: 2 multi vitamins (Mega Vita Gel softgel formula from Vitamin World) 2 Calcium pills (Calcium Citrate + with Vitamin D 'Members Mark' from Sams club 1 B-Complex (Your Life from the commissary) 1 Iron pill (Ferrous Fumarate from the commissary) 1 B-12 shot per month I am thinking of switching my multi vitamins to a prenatal version when I run out of these just for the extra vitamins. So far my labs are all super! Kia 5'9" 284/186/155

Hi Kia, How have you been doing? Thanks for the information on the vitamins. I have been taken Juice Plus but I'm not going to re-order because they are too expensive so I'm looking for some new vitamins to buy. Shon
