WHAT DID YOU EAT TODAY? 9-21-05
HI... I want to start off tonight's "WDYET" post by stating, that this is simply a forum to allow folks to be honest about what they are consuming. This is NOT to be used to make judgements about anyone. If we are going to be judgmental, how can you expect people to be honest and get the assistance they need?
The whole purpose of our board is to be SUPPORTIVE, not judgmental.
(Yes, I had a reason for that, but please indulge me and let it lie. thanks!)
Now...with that said:
Today....
B- 2 pkgs of Quaker Oatmeal - LOW SUGAR - Maple & Brown Sugar.
1 1/2 cups coffee - powdered creme / splenda
L- Panda Express - Mandarin Chicken - only ate 1/2 - gave half to my assistant...ate about 10 bites of the fried rice, then threw the rest out before I ate toooo much.
Unsweet tea with sweet & low
D - Longhorns - My friend Jeannie's Birthday!
TOOO much bread. So much, I could hardly eat my dinner...
(BREAD...a BIG problem)
Sirloin Steak - About 7 or 8 bites
Baked Potato - butter only - just a few bites
Broccoli - about 3 or 4 bites.
Unsweet tea with sweet & low
51 oz of water.
GOTTA START PRACTICING MY RULES...PROTEIN FIRST, THEN WATER. THEN if room, can have limited amounts of other. 21days makes a habit!! Time to renew a habit!!!
(Guess what is for lunch tomorrow??)
Until 9-22........
On to another better day...MAN work is stressing me out, and i am trying to manage the stress without putting food in my mouth!

Modean, First let me say that You are so beautiful! You remind me so much of my sister Rhonda. Anyway, that being said, What did I eat today? Let's see. Protein shake and water for breakfast, half a philly steak and cheese grilled roller from great wraps with a bite or two of some pasta salad and a couple of curly fries with a flat caffeine free diet coke, snack- a south beach diet peanut butter breakfast bar-10grams of protein 140 calories--and more water, if you haven't tried these bars go out and get some they are the bomb!!, and for supper the other half of a south beach diet frozen meal -30 grams of protein, 320 calories-from the night before-these are good also and high in protein. I feel like I am eating too much, but I am trying to get in 5 small meals, but I need to pick up the water!!

Just so you know, I wasn't able to exercise in the really early period either.
I can now, and it helps SOO much!

Oh yeah... I LOVE the south beach bars. They are the PERFECT pick me up say around 2pm when you hit that sugar low and need a little something...

l - grilled chicken sub and a coke (BAD GIRL)
s - baked potato chips left over from lunch and water!!!
d - a corn dog and water again.....go figure!!!
I'm not the greatest eater in the world and I know it - but I've managed to loose 3 lbs between eating , working out and being stressed.....I'm only 3 lbs from goal!

Oh boy! My six month anniversary! It's a good habit for me to be accountable!
B - Luna Chocolate Peppermint Stick bar, 1 cup coffee with 1 Splenda and 1 hazlenut flavored creamer
S - 1 container (6oz) cold Stallone High Protein pudding chocolate
L- 1/2 Turkey burger, no bun, swiss cheese, 1 packet of ketchup, 1/4 bag of baked cheetos
S - Remainder of baked cheetos
D - Half of a turkey, bacon, cheese only panini (sp?) from ABC
S - 2 SF Banana Pops
90 oz water!
Not great, but not bad. I need more fruit/veggies in the diet, but it's hard when I'm still supposed to be consuming so much protein

Ok... This topic seems to be keeping me a little more honest.. and eating better. I am also getting some good ideas of different things to eat from reading your replys
B= Scrambled egg and 2 strips bacon
s= 1 pack Lance Peanut butter crackers
L= salad with about 1 oz ham....lettuce/1 oz cheese/3 cherry tomatoes/no dressing
s=Atkins protein bar
D= package of budd sliced turkey
s= Wolfgang Puck French Vanilla Latte from Kroger- 100 calories/9 carbs- pretty good/ but not Starbucks
I think that was a better day for me

If you haven't already.... give those Wolfgang Puck coffee's a try. I find them in Kroger in the coffee aisle. They come in a can, and when you pop the bottom and let sit for three minutes they heat up in the can. They have a couple of different flavors including caramel and vanilla. Not as good as Starbucks , but only 100 calories (5 g fat....sugar 8 g....Protein 5 g.....carbs 9 g) Not sure if this is much better than Starbucks, but I kinda like them
