I got a Date
Thanks for asking!
My class is awesome!!! Last week, I wore a dress for the first time, and three or four of my students pretended to faint...fell flat on the floor...drama kings. That same morning at a team meeting, I mentioned that my peanut momma (her kiddo has peanut allergies) was going to be volunteering today. About that time, a lady walked past the doorway. I thought it was her. After I realized that it was NOT (Thank you, Lord), I feel flat on the middle of the floor. Yes, I had on a dress, Yes, we have a male kindergarten teacher. Yes, apparently, my kiddos learned that skill from yours truly. I think it must be easier for me to lie down flat on the floor now. I KNOW it's easier to get up. On the homefornt, Drew has been clean and sober for two months now (I miss him terribly!), and we should be in our new house by Thanksgiving. Then my mother-in-law will be living with us for the rest of her life....but I'm okay with that, I think.
Love ya'
Becky

I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Very happy for you! I remember dancing and jumping for joy when i got my date. It seemed almost unreal - but I was glad that I had it. The time (at the time) seemed to drag by - but now that it's been so long ago it really FLEW by!
Hope to see you soon!!!!
***Hey gang - scoot over we got Melissa joining us in looserville!!!***
Thank You so much Dee Dee, you don't know how much all of you guys support means to me. I was hoping to be at the Duluth gathering, but not sure now as I will only be 5 days post op, but there is plenty of time. You all are so inspiring to me and to be able to join you in LOSERVILLE will be an honor.
Hugs,
Melissa
