barbs surgery cancled
well everyone
I heard from barb c today and her surgery was cancled. the admin of emery adventist decided to cancle it not her dr.
i was apalled to here that they offered to have another surgeon do it.
I had Dr Scarborough do mine and he was wonderful and did a great job.
i am fuming !!!!!!!!!
what a jerk to put this wonderful woman through all this emotional torchure!!
I stand behind Dr Scarborough and his staff.... this hospital will never get business from me again.grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
sorry barb i had to voice my opinion....when you do have your surgery i will be there with you as we planned.................you are a wonderful person and shouldnt have to be put through all this.

Candy, I believe the administrator is just jerking Dr. Scarborough around, as he is pretty demanding of the care given his patients by the hospital staff. This guy has no clue as to the grief he is causing me, and thinks getting me another surgeon and giving me some money will make it go away. WRONG!!! I am absolutely commited to Dr. Scarborough and can't just be shifted off on any old surgeon. This administrator doesn't belong in healthcare, in my opinion, He has no clue as to the trust that builds up between patient, surgeon and staff.

You are such a love, Patty. Folks, can you believe she met me at Dr. Scarborough's office yesterday, took my "before" pictures, went with me over to the hospital, and literally held my hand through the whole pre-op procedure. She was planning to be at the hospital at 7:00 AM to be with me before surgery - even offered a bed in her home to me so I wouldn't have to leave at 3:00 AM for the drive up. She is awsome! I don't think I could bear yet another disappointment if I didn't have such wonderful support.
