Newbie looking

Hello all! I am currently going through my insurance approval phase for surgery. I have no idea what to expect from the insurance company so i am sure it will be interesting!!! Keeping chin up for now. I was wondering if there are any support groups anywhere near where i live (Cherokee Cty) ?? I would like to attend a couple and it might help ease my worrying a bit. Also i want to hear about others experiences after having had surgery!!! Thanks.
