I'm Gonna Be on STAR94 FM!!

Hello my friends! First of all, let me apologize for being scarce lately. You will hear me whine a bunch this time of year how much I will be working, as from now until the end of the year, I work every extra second I can get my paws on, and for that reason, I don't get to play on the computer as much as I like. I still love you all, and lurk a good bit (at work, when I can slink away for a sec..), but just don't have time to post very much...know that you are all in my thoughts and feel my "support vibes" coming through to everyone!! ok...so here's my news.... OMG!!!! Some of you are gonna roll your eyes at this so just go ahead now, and get it out of your system! Monday morning, I won on Star 94 the opportunity to come to the station on Weds afternoon and meet Ricky Martin!! (You know..."Livin' La Vida Loca"!!) So...my friend and I (my friend who turned me on to Mr. Martin several years ago...just for the record, "la vida loca" is my LEAST favorite song of his..) took off down to the station. As I understood it, we would get to be a part of a "happy hour" on the Cindy & Ray show in the afternoon, along with about 15 other ladies...basically get to be in the room while he was interviewed. OH NO!!! Since I won off the morning show, we got to FIRST go in with Steve & Vikki & Tom Sullivan, and got to actually be a PART of their interview to be broadcast this morning and asked Ricky questions, and chatted with him. The ONLY people in the studio were Steve, Vikki, Tom, Ricky, me and Tina!!! WOOOOOOOOOO FRICKIN' HOOOOOOOOOOO! OF COURSE I took pictures for those of you who asked! When the interview was done, we got anything we wanted signed, and had pictures taken with him. He was SOOOO very nice...walks in the room, and shakes my hand and says "Hi, I'm Ricky"....NO KIDDING!!! After we finished the interview, we got to go into the LIVE broadcast with Cindy and Ray, and be a part of the "happy hour" as we originally planned....MAN...some of those gals were seething at us when they found out we had already gotten some one on one time..! LOL!! We sat in on the interview, and again, was allowed to be a part of picture taking, and he handed out personalized autographed headshots. O M F G............You HAVE to have the best Karma and luck EVER!!!! I tried like the dickens to get on any station's interview with him. I have followed "Little" Ricky Martin since I was like 11.....I SO WORSHIPPED Menudo!!!!!!!!!!! - That comment is officially my "NERD" moment for the day/week/month/year! (I even went to Puerto Rico to see if I could find any of their houses....needless to say that didn't happen!) I'm Jealous.....no I'm not afraid to admit that!!!! It looks like you guys had fun.... I don't know HOW the heck I got so lucky, but TURN YOUR RADIO ON girl, cuz they are gonna play the interview very soon. They said sometime after 7am. AND... Tom said earlier, that "their listeners Tami & Tina were GREAT and they thanked me for sending the pics!" LOL!! We had a blast. Luv ya!

OMG... Girl, you do have all the luck.... OK, my NERD 'Ricky' moment too... I first fell for Ricky Martin when he was on General Hospital. Oh what I would have done to been with you yesterday.... And as much fun as I had with you at the Braves game a few weekends ago, This is one of those 'once in a lifetime' things. Oh well... atleast I did get to do the Braves game. Girlie, you keep having all this wonderful luck of yours. I'll just have to keep living vicariously threw you!!!! Dang... I'm so jealous... And I can't even listen to the show this morning... I ALWAYS listent to STAR94 when I go to Atlanta, but can only get it as far as my house. Can't get it here at work!!! Susan

OMG did you ask him a question yesterday afternoon ...?? Cause i heard that and i was like man that kinda sounds like Tami and all but there is no way that would be her ....and look who was there ...Man that is too cool ...I love Star94 they rock for meeting people and all ..And they let you hang out in the hallway to meet stars even when you did not win anything LOL ( can you tell i have done that a few times LOL ) Laura

Yesterday afternoon, it was another girl name Tammy that asked THAT question, but I was standing right behind her. I DID get to ask him a question that was on the broadcast this morning... He is VERY VERY YUMMY!!!

Hi Pam! KEWL!! I think you are the ONLY person I know that actually heard the interview! Yeah, I've been listening to ol silly Steve, since the old Z-93 days... I'd flip between him and Gary McKee on WQXI. It was really really neat. A definite once in a lifetimer...
