Hey Kimberly...I will be using same doc and hospital as you....did you have to pay ANYTHING up front? My insurance should approve it but some are saying that even when their insurance approved it they had to pay their portion to AMC..that is scaring me to death!

It just depends on your insurance carrier. I had to pay $800 deposit to the Dr and $200 to the hospital($100 a day). Best thing to do is call Jackie. She can tell you what your deposit will be. You do not have to pay that until your pre-op appointment. Good luck and please keep me posted. I have numbers and names to the staff if you ever need. Hugs!

I ended up in the hospital a few extra days and my bill was $69K....Even though we had primary and secondary insurance so there wasn't any out of pocket expense, I almost had a heart attack when I opened the statement. I am with you though Thank God for insurance because I would never had been able to had this wonderful blessing without it. Hugs and prayers, Theresa
