September 9 2005 My gastric bypass anniversary
Two years ago today I put my life in the hands of Dr Titus Duncan and God to ensure a meaningful and healthy life for myself. I was so fragile then and I was unsure about everything. But God has brought thus far and I am so much of a stronger person. In these last two years, I have lost 130 lbs and I have been maintaining my weight since November 2004. I have not weighed in over 133. I fluctuate from time to time but nothing over 133. Right now I am 128. It is surely a blessing. Two years ago I had sleep apnea, high blood pressure, hypertension, and had numerous pain episodes with my sickle cell anemia. God is so good because it has been since April of this year since I had a episode associated with my sickle cell. I feel so good. I have still been recovering from my tummy tuck on 7/11/2005 and I had actually forgotten about my anniversary today but my friend Christina called me to congratulate me and it made me feel so special. I am definitely going to update some pics very soon with obesityhelp.com to show my progress thus far. This surgery has saved my life. I am certain of it. Thanks for letting me share.

Congratulations on your success! I have all the same ailments except for the sickle cell, and it is encouraging to know that there may actually be some relief down the road. I'm sure God will continue to bless you, because you are so quick to give Him the credit. May you have many more years of good health.
