Great WOW discovery!
Yesterday I bought one of those scales that measures your body fat percentage and your total body water percentage as well as weight. I know they're not 100% accurate, but I figured it would at least give me a ballpark idea of where I am, help me be sure I'm staying hydrated, and let me monitor a (hopefully) downward trend in the body fat numbers. Guess what? Pre-op I had a 53% body fat number, and now it's just below 40%. Still too high... but when I ran the numbers, it means that 75 of the 90 lbs. I've lost is FAT!!! I was SO EXCITED! Guess all that exercise is truly paying off. And it was SO affirming that I'm doing things the right way. Just had to share it -- another of those WOW moments.
Thanks for listening,
Cheryl
I bought the scale at Bed Bath & Beyond, and I think it was $60.00. With a 20% off coupon, it's only $48.00. BTW, we have one of those 'doctor office' type scales, one of those tall ones with weights on the top that you slide to determine your weight. Very accurate. So far, this new scalr one measures exactly the same, to 1/5th of a pound.

I have a scale that is the same (does weight, body fat% and hydration) - mine came from Sam's Club and was under $30.00. I love it. The readout part detaches from the scale so you can mount it at eye level (no more looking at my feet to see my number). It is infrared.
Cheryl WTG on the fat loss ! Exercise is so important
