No Hiking yet

OK .. I really and truly have a very good reason for not trying the 10 mile hike over the weekend I was having coffee with one of my friends...selling her Avon..on Sat morning when my step son (the Marine from Camp Pendleton) called to see how I was. I talked to him for a few minutes, and then asked him if I could call him back a little later. He told me he was at his GF's in Pasadena. Well, about 5 minutes later, his GF, he and my hubby came walking in. The little bugger decided to surprise me and come home for a visit for the weekend My hubby had told me he was going to be at deer camp for the day, but actually was in on the surprise Okay... weather permitting, I will try this hike this Sunday. Maureen, What a wonderful surprise! I think it was worth postponing the hike. And Jake was smart telling you he was going to his deer camp. If you are like I am, when David says he is going to deer camp I don't ask many questions. Well the 17th is right around the corner! I am looking forward to the get together. I have finally cleaned out my closet and have all my "big" clothes boxed for the meeting. Hey what hotel did you say you and Jake were staying at. I can't find the info you had sent to me and I need to make reservations for David and I. David is all ready for bow hunting but he has agreed to go to the meeting on the 17th.
