SIX DAYS and Counting!
Just a quick hi to every one.
I haven't been on much ... trying to relax, get rested up (not as though the cats will let me do that though, LOL). No new situation with my stomach, lung or heart issues. I'm just taking things real easy to not 'rock the boat' before they FINALLY get me in the OR for my corrections.
We're scheduled to go down to see the anesthesiologist this Thursday, 11AM, will get my pre op prep icky drink crap and a surgical time. I'm PRAYING I will be first on the table as Dr Smith has told us I will be and be done HOPEFULLY by noon.
Actually biggest thing right now is we are debating if hubby stays with me Monday night if we DARE leave the 17 year old home alone. But I told him I don't want to leave the kitties too long alone, my older one trends to stop using the litterbox (he holds it) whenever we go away and ends up at the vet with terrible bladder issues. If our son is here at least he wont be too bad. I swear cats are sometimes worse than kids! LOL. But then the thing with the kid is will he go to bed at a decent hour AND get up for school, hehehe.
I'm not terribly nervous about going in for the correction ... more the unknowing of if he is going to cut me or be able to do it laperscopicly. Then thinking about possibilities of tubes (feeding and colonoscopy). We are pretty prepared I guess for the drainage tube. I'm all re packed again (from my last Emory battle tantrum) so we are good to go. I'll try to get on some this week but don't know how much. Sandra is planning (as far as I know) on her and Boyce coming and seeing my husband during surgery so I know she will keep everyone up on things (Huggs Sandra)

Lisa,
I'm so glad your re-day is finally coming soon. I know you have had lots to deal with thru this tough time, and hopefully this will be the end of it for you so you can get back to some normalcy. I will keep you ni my thoughts and prayers for a uneventful surgery, and a speedy recovery!
Hugs,
Susan
